This workshop is being offered by Kimberly Reckert, Public Relations and Marketing Strategy Manager for Perfect Care Match. Kimberly holds a B.S. in psychology. Her previous roles include 12 years of experience working in community health improvement within complex healthcare systems, addressing social determinants of health among vulnerable populations with a focus on chronic disease prevention. This included engaging with clinical providers, public health officials, and community agencies to develop, implement, and provide program support for community/clinical linkage interventions addressing barriers to access to care, chronic disease prevention, food and nutrition, and healthy housing. This included working with a multidisciplinary team to develop a nutrition prescription/food pharmacy pilot program to improve health outcomes for cancer patients for expansion at the system level. She served as an active member of local Food Policy Councils and the Massachusetts Food is Medicine statewide planning and advocacy Steering Committee, including providing policy and legislative testimony at the local, state, and federal levels. She additionally managed training programs and supervised Community Health Workers engaged in home-visiting interventions.
