Unlike a home care registry or caregiver referral source, PCMatch is a Full-Service Agency that employs our caregivers as W-2 employees.

This means we cover all employment insurances (Liability and Workers’ Compensation) and all critical caregiver responsibilities, from hiring, training, and supervising to payroll, taxes, and liability, relieving you of this burden and potential risks. This important distinction ensures that families can rely on us for all their caregiving needs without the added stress of managing these aspects and other liabilities.

Potential Risks and burdens of using a Registry or Caregiver Referral Sources

A home care registry is very different and simply a referral source, which does not directly employ caregivers, provide field supervision and home visits, or cover Liability and Workers’ Compensation insurance. Understanding this difference is crucial, as using a registry or caregiver referral source means you become the caregiver’s employer and assume these responsibilities and risks.

PCMatch also conducts randomized field supervision visits regularly to ensure that care plans are adhered to by care staff and to determine whether revisions are needed.
