Hourly and Live-In Opportunities

Hourly caregivers work 8-hour shifts and sometimes fewer shifts based on client needs and scheduling.

    Assisted Live-In Caregivers:

    Live-in caregivers commit to a minimum of one month; however, placements can be long-term.

    Many Live-In caregivers have experience in hospitals, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities, caring for multiple patients simultaneously. Focusing on a single patient can be a preferred and rewarding caregiver experience.

    Perfect Care Match ensures Live-In caregivers are provided with breaks and supplemental coverage for personal time off.

    PCMatch Is Actively Recruiting Experienced and Professional Caregivers.

    We ensure our caregivers have at least two years of professional experience providing care in nursing homes, assisted living, and respite care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) or working for a home care agency. 

    Caregiver candidates should possess a compassionate and caring attitude, be ambitious, energetic, and service-minded, and be able to assist senior home care clients with a friendly smile. 

    We are recruiting for:

    • Hourly & Live-In – Per Diem
    • Long-term and short-term assignments

    PCMatch is currently serving homes in New England and provides Live-In Care throughout the state of Massachusetts.

    Caregivers must have reliable transportation for 8-12 hourly assignments.  We assist with transportation arrangements for live-in care assignments.

    Caregiver Responsibilities:

    • Follow Plan of Care designed by the agency for clients
    • Assist with personal hygiene-bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care requirements
    • Bathroom assistance
    • Incontinence care
    • Ambulation assistance
    • Assistance with all activities of daily living
    • Assist in planning meals, cook/prepare meals and snacks
    • Make sure clients get medications on time-document and notify the agency of missed medications
    • Inform the agency of incidents or uncommon occurrences
    • Act calmly and swiftly during an emergency
    • Light housekeeping in main living areas-dusting, vacuuming, mopping, washing surfaces, disinfecting in common areas and bathrooms
    • Washing, drying, folding, and storing of laundry
    • Transportation to/from appointments, shopping, and other errands
    • Companionship-socialization with client
    • Wellness activities
    • Encourage exercise
    • Purposeful engagement activities
    • Grocery shopping, if needed, online and in-store
    • Monitor and notify the agency of low grocery and cleaning supplies
    • Dementia care-free training and ongoing support
    • Hospice support care
    • Must follow written and verbal communication protocols as required by PCMatch, regarding assigned cases and time off requests

    Position Requirements:

    • Must be dependable
    • Prior experience as a caregiver or personal care assistant (2 plus years-certified nurse, home health aide preferred)
    • Great communication skills
    • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety standards
    • Ability to lift 100+ lbs. regularly
    • CNA, HHA, PCA certification preferred
    • A valid driver’s license
    • Must be dedicated, reliable, and sensitive to the needs of the elderly
    • Pre-Employment/Random drug testing
    • Authorized to work in the US
    • Must Complete All COVID Training and Follow Protocols
